Beautiful Night, Beautiful Morning.

We enjoyed 'Chicken Soup with Rice' (in honor of Maurice Sendak's book), in front of the cozy fire.

The view from our front door. Look at the snow curled over the roof! And we only got a few inches! Will we even be able to get out if we get a couple of feet?? Oh well, there is always downstairs...

I love the mist rising up from the valleys.

And here is the city, actually Centennial, from our deck. We used to live about two blocks from that tall shining building.

Finally reaching sledding point...

It did reach sledding point! And for the first time this season, we went sledding in our front yard! Yippee! Then we enjoyed hot apple cider, a warm fireplace to make fresh popcorn, and a DVD of the original Jonny Quest ~ who we figured out, was homeschooled!

Snowy Day!

We woke up this morning to a wintery scene! Everyone was very excited and we all waited anxiously for that perfect amount, for the first sledding outing of the snowy season!!! David built a nice big fire and we enjoyed our breakfast of biscuits and gravy on a picnic blanket in the livingroom.

Alecia's Birthday!

We had a blast bowling for Alecia's birthday! Her very best friends came. Athena, Jasmine, Jack, Duncan and Ronnie. It was a lot of fun. The adults got to bowl too, so that really made it special.
