Vision Heirs Living History Day

Yesterday we went to Living History Day, put on by Vision Heirs. It was a wonderful re-enactment of colonial times, when colonists were on the brink of revolution.

There were many things to see and do. We met up with Geneva and her boys too!

Filling the straw ticks was a favorite. Alecia remembered fondly reading about Laura (Little House on the Prairie) having to fill straw ticks.

We learned about the farming traditions of American colonists, what animals they raised and what they used them for.

What a fun day! We'll definitely do this again. Should come back around in the fall.

Definitely something I want to take my kiddo's to when they're older!
